I appreciate the technician addressed the fan issue and refilled Freon for my unit. Everything has been working fine since then. What a relief! The customer service rep Liliya on the phone was very clear and helpful. I would have liked to understand the technician easier and I would have appreciated the technician asking for permission to use my guest bathroom instead of helping himself with the master bathroom without asking.

Because of our Cedar Trees needles the Carrier HVAC was a mess and stopped operating. Modest fixed the Contact, cleaned out a couple inch layer of needles and the clogged PTrap and diagnosed a faulty thermostat. All for $80. I installed an Ecobee smart thermostat and the HVAC works great.

Repeat customer over many years. The HVAC unit purchased and installed by them 5 years ago in Feb had just finished its labor warranty period by 1 month when our AC unit stopped functioning. I’ve learned to appreciate the fact I can call after hours and select the option to send a text message requesting service. (In this case, although it was late, I got a response with an appointment offered the following morning!) Great response time is important and they definitely are top notch. Our issue was a board failure, a part covered under warranty. We did pay a nominal processing fee, but that included the initial diagnostic visit and installation of the part the following morning. The technician was very efficient and diligent, not leaving until ever single vent was checked for proper cooling temperatures. He also fixed an airflow problem we had in one room. Excellent service. Highly recommend. They are honest and do not oversell nor overcharge. Best of all, they make sure everything is working before they depart. Over the years, we’ve had this consistently high quality service which is why we stick with them.

I wanted to have a Bosch IDP Premium installed before the tax credits disappeared, so I contacted all of the major Bosch-approved installers around Sacramento to get quotes. I'm fairly well versed in heat pumps and the basics of HVAC systems, and I knew what I wanted out of a contractor/company, so I let them lead and ask questions to see how much they knew and if they were going to do things right. Vasiliy with A Cool Air immediately stood out because he was THE ONLY person who asked to get access to my tiny crawlspace to inspect my ducting, and one of two who noted the return duct sizing being far too small for the existing 4 ton unit. Everyone else, all the 5 star rated big companies, just came out and gave me a quote to swap like for like, whether or not it would run efficiently. Not only that, but A Cool Air came back with extremely fair pricing, no joke, HALF of what some of the big companies asked for the exact same unit. We're talking 10K+ in savings, and with better services at that. Vasiliy was always awesome with answering all of my questions, and made all of the adjustments I asked for.
